Paul CL Chan brings 18 years of experience from two international and one local financial institution, where he held roles in International Commercial & Corporate Banking, Payments Operations, Sales & Marketing, Corporate Customer Service, and Human Resources. For over 9 years, he served as a full-time Credit Trainer, Motivational and Sales Speaker, and Team Builder at a foreign bank, ultimately rising to Head of Learning & Development. In addition to delivering soft-skill management courses, Paul currently owns PAW Training & Consultancy, which he has led for over 12 years, and is also a major partner at Cornerstone Corporate Training & Consulting Sdn Bhd.
Before entering the financial industry, Paul worked as a Marketing Officer for over 4 years at a government statutory authority in agriculture. He also spent 2 years lecturing on Marketing, Management, and Accounting at a higher education institution. Today, he is a sought-after resource speaker for the Asian Banking School, FSTEP, and SIDC.
Paul holds a BBA (Hons) from UUM and an MBA from UM. He is a National Service Character Builder and is certified in Train the Trainer, MBTI, SHL & DISC profiling, Sales Training, and Competency-Based Training Education (Australia). He is also BEI (Behavioral Event Interview) certified, an NLP Certified Trainer (Practitioner and Master Practitioner levels, ABNLP), and an accredited facilitator for 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, the Law of Attraction by Michael Losier, and the Cohen Brown Sales Program.

JAY-JEE LOONG brings more than 16 years of experience in the Malaysian and international banking industry, with a strong focus on designing and delivering credit training for global banking professionals. His expertise has taken him to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, the United States, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, India, and Australia.
He began his career at CIMB, gaining hands-on experience across Commercial Banking, Treasury, and Corporate & Investment Banking. Later, at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, he specialized in expanding large foreign currency loan syndications and club deals within Labuan Offshore Banking.
Jay Jee has designed, delivered, and facilitated a wide range of credit, banking, and financial accounting courses for the International Banking Division. He was the first to implement international credit certification programs in the Asia Pacific and East Asia divisions, launching the Credit Skills Assessment (CSA) and Business Lending Fundamentals (BLF) programs by Omega Performance, which engaged participants from more than 12 countries.
As a Senior Credit Trainer, Jay Jee delivers credit policy, procedure, and system training to all Front and Middle Office staff, and provides train-the-trainer support to colleagues in London and across Asia. In 2015, he was appointed by Head Office to join a global project team tasked with training overseas staff on the new USD125 million internal credit system, Global Business Re-Engineering (GBR). For the past five years, he has served as facilitator and moderator at the annual strategic SMBC Credit Officer Meetings for the Asia Pacific and East Asia Credit Risk Departments in Tokyo, Singapore, and Hong Kong.
Jay Jee earned his degree from the University of Miami, Florida (USA), majoring in Economics with a minor in English. He is a Certified Training Professional (CTP) from ITD, a certified trainer for Omega Performance programs—including Credit Skills Assessment and Business Lending Fundamentals—and holds both the Certified Credit Professional (CCP) and Credit Skills Assessment (CSA) qualifications.
